Since we are not a conventional school you can opt in or out at anytime. But the only requirement you need is that you be ready to read anytime you are with us. We will give out books in PDF format for you to read and little assignment will be given to be submitted.

Today I am giving out an essay written by Ralph Waldo Emerson titled Self Reliant and other Essay in the volume. Trusting others may come with a price, disappointed, delay, there was a story of a farmer who want to bring in his harvest from the field. In his field there live a sparrow with little birds in the next. While walking around his farm the farmer told the Son he will call in his friend and neighbor to come and help with is harvesting in the hearing of the little bird in the nest, when the mother bird came in the little bird inform their mom, we got to move the farmer is about harvesting we over heard him telling his son that he and neighbor will come harvesting.
The mother bird with experience told the little bird not to worry that as long as he relied on the neighbor he will do nothing true to her word the neighbor were too busy to help the farmer. Two week after the farmers said he will call in his friends alone to come and help since they are his friends they must be ready to help.
When the mother bird came the little birds relay the same message also to her but with experience she told them not to worry. true to her word the farmers friend were too busy with their trade to help.
After three weeks the farmer told the son that tomorrow, since help is not coming from both neighbors and friend he must be ready to work, for the harvesting. When the baby bird relay the message, the mother bird moved away that same day. Knowing fully well that when a man come to himself and ready to help himself nothing can stop that resolution.
The farmer came in the second day to start the harvesting but unfortunately there was a heavy rain that washed away the harvest. We must learn to rely on ourselves not on our job, on friend on neighbor or relatives. Rely on nobody but yourselves. That is the crust of the message of Self Reliant by Ralph Waldo Emerson
